Heart of stone

This series was more then just a book series,  it was an experience.  I don't have the right words.  I simply have feelings that I will attempt to express. Nervous,  fearful to start because of how the previous book ended and a bit of sadness because it is the last one. I dove in anyway. And finished in one sitting.  Suspense,  joy, love, cheering.  This book brought everything together.   There were many tears in reading.  Especially the very end. This book was everything I hoped for.  It was so touching with how the characters have grown and what they have come through.  It has been a wild ride. And worth every bit! Rembrandt's journey was incredibly touching through this book. You see his struggles at there core, and how he chooses to face the future.  Love, love, love. I can't recommend this series enough.  I can't go into detail of exactly what I loved so much,  because I really am trying to not give spoilers,  and in a climax because practically everything is a spo

With the banter of a friends to more, the angst of a unrequited love, and the power of a slow burn. This contemporary romance has it all! . Seriously this book was incredible! Evan may even bump Jonah from his throne of #1 Tuttle Hero. Evan was awesome. Everything I enjoy in a great contemporary hero. He is confident, swoony, protective and has a bit of a past that shadows his present. I adored his patient pursuit of Rachael, it was so good! Rachael has some big steps to grow from. I was intrigued by her character from book 1 and I was so excited for her story! I loved how the author took the time to dive into what drove and what hindered Rachael from moving forward in life. The faith message was so very well woven into the story and there were some deep metaphors and points that anyone can appreciate and apply. Bravo! Absolutely adored seeing characters from Love you Truly!!!!!! That was the icing on the cake! I recieved a complementary copy of this book from the author. All opinions

Right Here Waiting

Ever since I was introduced to the hero of thos book in Crazy for you I was definitely looking forward to reading his story.  I was really looking forward to reading a story with lots of dogs! And sledge dogs to boot! With the promise of a bit of hidden identity.....yep, sounds like a great read! . That this type of story takes place in Deep Haven, one of me favorite fictional places,  where I have spent a good portion of the year in was another enjoyable part of this book. . This is the kind of book you want to curl up within a cold winter day with hot cocoa nearby! . This story was quickly paced and kept my attention.  There were a few things that had me questioning the probability of that happening but it was still an enjoyable read.  I recieved a complementary copy of this book from the publisher and all the opinions in this review are honest and completely my own.

Heart of a Cowboy

I love how Jody hedlund writes historical romance.  She let's you dive right into a scene with action or has meaning through the rest of the book. In this case we witness a rescue scene that sets the stage for two very different characters to be thrown together.  The chemistry between Flynn and Linnea was on point and you could feel it even though they each had their own reasons for trying to fight it. Ah such good conflict! I did enjoy the character arc of Flynn the most,  I really appreciated how he had to learn how to let go of the need to be in control,  a need truly based off fear. I often find the "lady scientist " character type hard to like because they often times come across as pushy, abrasive and downright rude.  Linnea was a really sweet character and her motivation felt genuine from her love of exploring nature.  I do wish her character grew a little in the area that her identity didn't depend on what she did (I personally believe we are more then a chose

Let me catch my breath.   My reviews may seem a bit repetitive.  Yet each installment has sent me on the rollercoaster of emotions and tension and suspense! Yes I love this series and I feel like the stakes are raised with each book in this series.  The cliffhangers get more intense with each book, yet I am so invested with these characters that I eagerly wait for the moment I can get my hands on the next one.  The suspense is there, the moments that pull the heartstrings and moments of humor that perfectly balance all the intense moments.  It is the perfect balance of all things I love. This book sets up the series for what I anticipate to be a killer of a climax.  I am trying not to spoil anything,  because so much is at stake in this book that , I am just dying! Ahhhhhh! If you are looking for a series, full of twists,  a great cast of characters and tight writing, I highly recommend this series.  I recieved a complementary copy of this book from the publisher.  All opinions in this

Hanging by a Moment

I have loved the time I have been able to spend in Deep Haven this year. These books have been  a sort of "comfort food" read each time.  this story follows a character that long time readers may recognize, Collene Decker (from You Don't know me).I really thought her character stayed true to what we had already known anout her while giving us a chance to catch up with her. I will admit I was realy intruiged by the hero of this story. I love complex backstories and this one is one you don't see offten in contemporary Christian Romance.  And while I was reading I I learned more about air rescue and flight nurses. very interesting. I had the urge to even try rock climbing, but I think I know my limits and will stick with hiking. This book had a very even pace and had a bit of angst to drive the story. At some points I was getting frusturated when the characters didn't comunicate or did'nt rise to the growth that I wanted to see. I get that these moments were wher

Great series you never want to end. I have absolutely loved each journey into this time of war, rebellion and healing.  And now we can read about the two people who brought some of those very special D'argent people into this world.  If you have read the first three books in the series you get the gist of what happens in Godfroi and Robine's story,  but Tamara Leigh takes you inside their story,  with all the twists, turns,  triumphs and hardships.  I was so impressed with how she took this tale and wove such depth and hope into it.  It has all the trademark elements of any of her other stories,  yet feels fresh. This bookis unique in the way that it covers a much longer period of time then her other books, but it perfectly fits the story. Oh and one of my favorite things was seeing young Guarin and Cyr! I loved this look at how they were when they were young. Makes me want to go and reread their stories.  Robine really shone as a heroine in this tale, she grows so much and has

I loved it!!!!!! This book I have learned almost a year ago and have been eagerly waiting for it. And I can say this. It was worth the wait. If you are into fun, lighthearted, romantic, swoony, marriage of convenience with a touch of mystery this is something you will want to check out. I absolutely loved Grace! She was whimsical yet loyal, she is just such a genuine character. Fredrick was absolutely perfect for her. He had a past, and he had some shadows in his life that needed the sunshine Grace brought to life. And the kissing..... This book has kissing. Pepper Basham is a master at building great romantic tension. Have I mentioned she writes great kissing books? This book was everything I expected from Pepper Basham in a marriage of convenience story. One of my favorite reads this year because it's one of those books that left a ridiculous smile on my face and a major book hangover. I highly recommend, to lovers of fun swoony romance. Undercurrent of Secrets

Okay this is officially my favorite Rachel Scott McDaniel book yet! This book is a split time that is so well balanced between the past and the present. I loved the light thread of mystery and the contemporary just was so good. I loved the romance in both time periods. There were some absolutely adorable and swoony scenes in both that just was my favorite parts of this book. I loved the setting of the riverboat! So interesting how the author used an actual boat for the setting and so you get that peek into the lives of people who lived the riverboat life. If you want to feel transported grab this one, it's a gem. Thanks to Netgally I received a complementary copy of this book. All opinions in this review are honest and my own.

Oh, boy.... If there is one thing I have learned from reading this series is to plan a "recovery time " after you finish each book. This one was no exception.  I love how each book builds more and more into the story.  How much the story has changed since the beginning.  And the new layers and depth that we get in this book of the series.  I can't recommend this series enough.  It has suspense,  it has a complicated multi level mystery thread, it has characters that feel so real, it has a absolutely beautiful love story.  It has everything.  Rem is a character I completely adore,  he is trying to get things right, yet like us,  often messing up.  Yet I cheer so hard for him.  He is complex, relatable and fiercely loyal to his people.  Each book has a killer of a cliffhanger and this one has a cliffhanger that was so intense and so raw.......... It. WAS. INCREDIBLE.  . Desperately eager for book 5! . I recieved a complementary copy of this book from the publish

I enjoyed this book so much! This author has a way of sucking me in with complex characters and an interesting plot that has me eagerly reading as fast as I can to see how everything works out. This book centered around a small town and people who were involved in helping survivors of sex trafficking. This book gave a tiny glimpse of some characters stories,  but never too much or over detailed.  Just enough to make it real, just enough to really make you think about what real people have to face. The romance was so good! I loved the meet-cute I loved how they had to work together and I loved how they both had Shadows in their past that they needed to grow from. It has some great kisses which is always a win for me. The chemistry was spot on and the struggle tugged my heart. Loved! I do wish that I got to see a bit more of the hero's spiritual journey but it was good. And this author once again has a villain that I just loved to despise! And twist that I I didn't see coming! Oh my, loved this! Well I absolutely loved Bryson. Broody, protective, backstory and depth.......yes please. This book definitely gave me the feels and I was rooting hard for Bryson the whole time. This author has a great way of handling triangles. Which is such a tricky trope. This book touches on some real feelings, especially for me who has been a Christian for awhile, sometimes we wonder...."why is this happening to me, I have tried to do all the right things ". Darcy had some growing to do and I loved seeing how she fought it at first, then you see how she changes. Bravo Another winner in my opinion! I recieved a complementary copy of this book from the publisher through Netgally. All opinions are honest and completely my own.

Ahh, yes. We get Boone Buckham's story now! He was the guy back in the PJ Sugar series, the loyal guy, that didn't get the girl. I was really excited to see him get his own HEA. And I really enjoyed it. His loyalty is something I loved and him and Vivian were so fun to watch. That first line hooked me from the beginning and I ate this story up! It's fun, with good character growth and a touch of some mystery. If you need a good book to give you a bit of a vacay, I'd recommend this book! I recieved a complementary copy of this book from the publisher. All thoughts and opinions are honest and completely my own

Shadow by Kara Swanson

Image
To sum it up in one word.....Epic Seriously,  this book was amazingly epic! You must read Dust first because this book drops you right where Dust left off.  The author did a fantastic job of building off of the world and characters that she created in the first book.  This book is vivid and engrossing,  action packed and deep. I loved how she wove metaphors into this fantasy world that are so relatable in our world.  Because we all wrestle with darkness.  It is so much more intense than Dust so buckle up for a wild ride! I really appreciated how she wove the spiritual message into this story,  my only complaint with the first novel was that the spiritual message was not quite fleshed out as I liked, this one was definitely there it was perfectly obvious to the person looking for it yet it never beat you over the head. It was incredible! Definitely one of my favorite books this year! There was not one thing I didn't like! As someone who doesn't get into fantasy that much I highl

Okay, now I'm hooked! It's crazy how you can know about an author, interact on social media and still take way too long to pick up her books. Well better late then never! I absolutely loved this story.  The characters are heartfelt and authentic feeling.  They struggle with some true to life issues that are not easy to come through, and they don't conveniently disappear.  It felt authentic, real. This book does touch on some heavier topics,  yet it is not overpowering at all. It is part of these character's stories and I loved seeing their growth! The banter between friends was so good and several time I was just grinning at the humor and snappy dialogue.  Kissing book alert! I do love a good kissing book, and this author managed to really keep the chemistry there, throughout the story.  I loved this love story! I love stories of redemption. I love seeing characters come from a broken past into the hope that we have in our Lord. Now I need the next one!

Woman in Shadiw

Image
This author always writes a tight mystery! I enjoy how this author sets up her plot and slowly builds the tension until the conclusion. Out of her books that I have read this one was one of the easier ones to figure out yet there was a bit of a twist I didn't see until the reveal. A great read for someone who wants a absorbing mystery without being a romantic suspense. There is a slight romantic interest but it isn't strong. I recieved a complementary copy of this book from the publisher through Netgally and all opinions in this review are honest and completely my own.

There are some books where when you try to write a review,  words feel  insufficient.  Though a book is made up of words, I do not have the skill to describe how beautiful this story is.  However I will attempt to write out a review.  Amanda Dykes is a word smith, she paints scenes,  settings and characters with words that appear to take a life of their own. This is one of those books that you experience,  not just read. I rarely cry while reading, yet once again I am brought to tears by this author's work. Tears of sadness sometimes,  but the tears are also from being touched by moments of heroism,  tenderness and hope. I will treasure this book. For one thing it reminds us to look to the light while in darkness,  it reminds us that we all have a chance to be brave in our own way.  A time that our Creator destined us for. So yes, I highly recommend it.

I always know when I pick up one of Jamie's books that I can get a great mystery that spans decades. They have a delightfully creepy feel without being too much. This book definitely hooks you with the mysterious, spooky vibe and slowly builds up layers of clues. I really enjoyed both the historical and contemporary time lines. They were really well connected and each story line felt with some interesting and true to life issues. Axel was probably my favorite character, just saying.... The plot did feel like it lagged just a bit past the halfway mark, then it did picked right back up for the climax though. The settings in these books always feels so immersive without being overly descriptive. I don't know how the author does it, yet she does it so well. You can practically feel the fog and chill floating across your skin. If you enjoy mystery with a gothic feel, I highly recommend this book. Between the Wild Branches

Loved it!!!!!!! Part one in this duology left me eager for book two that is for sure! And this author came through big time! I loved Lukio's character arch,  he had so much that he needed to grow from and realize and I loved how it wasn't instantly realized all at once, he had to grow gradually. And that made it feel so real. Shoshana was so good too! She survived so much and I loved how devoted she was to others! The suspense in this book was so well done, so much was at stake that I devoured this book in just over a day. It was so good. The majority of this story takes place in a Philistine city,  so there are more mature, violent things happening then most of her stories.  I felt like it wasn't overdone or too explicit, yet it gives a glimpse into how bad it may have been.  I loved and cared for the side characters as well and I really hope we get to see them in later books. This author always creates vivid adventures with the backdrop of Biblical events.  Lo

The Writing Desk by Rachel Hauck

Image
It's books like this that make me ask myself why I waited so long to get into Rachel Hauck books! I loved how this author builds these characters in her split time novels. I loved both couples. Each one had growth that they need to go through. They had obstacles to overcome. The romance built and built to some swoony moments. I especially loved how the two timelines had some similar threads and came together to tell a great story.

Sticks and Stone

Image
My favorite one in the series so far! That may be because I have become so invested in this story line and these characters. I adore Rem, I love the deep perspective we get with his POV. With the cliffhanger that book two left me with I was desperate for the next book. And I was not disappointed! You get the multilayered mysteries that are going on and the clues to interconnected one that has yet to be solved.....or has it? We get another piece of the story, but just enough of a hook to leave you eager for the next book! I love the perspective that we get from Eve's point of view. We get the action, we get the character development, all the things I love about this series!  I did recieved an advanced reader copy from the publisher,  I then purchased my own copy because of how much I honestly loved it!

a Match for Emma

Image
Adorably Delicious. That's how I veiw this book. I really enjoy books that take the framework and parts that we love in classics and give us a new adaptation of it. Pepper Basham did a great job of bringing us an adorable friends to more story in her own unique style that has the fun and the great romantic tension that builds at just the right pace for this kind of story. I really loved the spiritual depth of this story too. Emma and Jon had to realize where they were holding back and what they needed to grow in. Emma probably had the biggest growth where she realized not only her faults, but how it had an impact on others. It's something I have had to grow in as well, so that made is special to me. The cuteness factor of this story was just what I needed at the time too.

To Save a King

Image
Sometimes a book is beautiful inside and out. This is one of those books. Since I started reading Rachel Hauck's books again last year I really love how she develops deep, flawed yet lovable characters. I loved the message of worth, grace and hope in this story. These characters feel real and you just want them to win at life. Her stories have a touch of supernatural influence that is so special, and it adds a great quality to the story. Loving this series!

Resisting Rose

Image
Resisting Rose takes us to a few years after the end of Lilly's book. Rose is the baby of the family and we get her friends to lovers story.  It is a sweet story, the characters have to realize some things,  grow a little and learn to handle some drama, but it is wrapped up in a neat package that is a trademark for a this author's style. I did feel like the "fight " Rose and Trace had got a little petty for where they were in their relationship. But I get that there had to be some conflict.  The story seemed to really fit these two characters and I enjoy reading it! I recieved a complementary copy of this book from the author.  All opinions are completely my own and honest.

Crazy for You

Image
I might have said this before,  but I love deep Haven.  There is something special about this small fictional community.  In Crazy for you we get two different perspectives of this town. I loved Peter! He is a resident of Deep Haven and related to two of the big families in this town, so we get to see a inside look into the town workings.  I really enjoyed his loyalty and how he really took his responsibilities seriously.  I liked how we got to see him grow from being in a position where he was constantly having to be the peacemaker, to learning how to ....well you'll see. Ronie was definitely his opposite! She came into this community as an outsider and is definitely a fish out of water for a while.  While I do enjoy strong female characters,  I felt like Ronie was a bit over the top with her rudeness.   Perhaps it's just because I love this town so much that I felt defensive of it. This may just be my personal pet peeve,  of having a female character being rude as the equival

Lawless by Tamara Leigh

Image
Another wonderful part of the series! Each one of these stories is unique and holds a special part in this saga. This book has a slow building, slow burn feel but once the peices are in place I couldn't put it down. I really loved Guy and Alvida's story. She was a unique, yet relatable heroine. I cheered for her as she faced her insecurities and enemies. It was so cool to see Guy from her other series being incorporated into this series and getting his own story. I loved his sense of honor and how he grew from the hurt from the past. This book is rich in the history of the time too. Filled with insight into William and I really loved how the book wrapped up. Swoony romance, a satisfying ending. 4.5 stars I recieved a complementary copy of this book from the author. All opinions in this review are honest and completely my own.

the Lost Castle

Image
Though this book was an exercise in brain power to keep track of three timelines, it is a beautifully written book.  With split time novels you get more than one story,  yet it is linked together in some way. I really enjoy that link to history,  the reminder that there have been centuries of people with hopes and dreams that have lived before us. This was my first time reading this author,  but I will definitely be back for more!

Before Time Runs Out by Amy Matayo

Image
These are the kind of time travel that I just love! I really enjoyed the unique aspect of two people who travel from two different time periods and meet in the past. That was super fun and completely built up the angst at the climax! I wasn't aware when starting this book that it was not CF, however it was perfectly clean with some great chemistry between the two main characters. As to the set up of how the time travel was made possible.....I was a tad uncomfortable with that. And it did dim my ability to fully accept the first part of the story. However I stuck with it and I really did enjoy it! The heroine was okay, and she grew on me over the story. But Theo........win, win, win. A great hero that I adored! 4.5 stars

Organized Backup

Image
Okay, this book was fun and cute while dealing with very serious issues. A great balance! I love a good fake relationship, and I definitely enjoyed this one. I loved the meddling mother! I adored Cam ! He is such a sweet hero, chivalrous, protective, yet he deals with his own struggles. This book deals with a sexual harassment, and the heroine is in a situation where she feels trapped. I really enjoyed how the author takes the seriously important situations and struggles but has it wrapped up in a contemporary romance set in Australia. I loved it and can't wait to read more from this author!

Hope Between the Pages by Pepper Basham

Image
Okay this author can write in any genre! Like, wow.  I always pick up a Pepper Basham when I want swoony romance and a fun read, but the depth that this book had really shows that this author can write more then that. This time split novel had me fully engrossed in both stories and....yeah. it's hard to talk about without giving something critical away. I just love how she crafts characters that are so lovable! You smile with them, root for them and sometimes cry for them. I just really enjoyed how this author made me care deeply for two sets of characters and had me staying up late to finish the book.  I felt transported in both time periods,  and truly felt each setting.   Bravo I recieved a complementary copy of this book from the publisher through Netgally.  All opinions are completely my own and honest.

Can't Buy Me Love

Image
This book was another great trip back to Deep Haven! I loved the type of Cinderella type twist this story had, loved the banter between the two main characters. This book has that fun element in a contemporary that is exactly what pulls me in. The awkward "oh no!" scenes, the playful flirty scenes,  the obstacles that you get to see the characters work through.    This book was just a delight to read, I loved the on page chemistry that the two main characters had.  I loved the way the author drew me in and allowed me to escape to my favorite fictional town. And while it was fun it had depth and a great message woven into it! I recieved a copy of this book from the publisher.  All thoughts and opinions in this review are honest and completely my own.

Jerusalem's Daughter

Image
This debut author brings a special something to the world of Biblical Fiction! I had the pleasure of being a beta reader a year ago and I was so excited to be able to be on the launch team as well. I truly believe that this author brings a sweetness to Biblical fiction that it is hard to describe.  These characters have become vivid to me and I have loved seeing the passion week through their eyes. This story has a even moderate pace that slowly allows you to get to know the characters and then brings you to a climax that has forever changed the world.  I love seeing real Biblical events through the eyes of everyday people.  Shamira is a very strong character that I wasn't sure if I would like right away,  but I came to enjoy seeing her grow and mature.  I really liked how loyal and protective she was of the ones she loved.  I really liked how this book had the unique angle of someone coming out of a loving home life. Often in BF you see characters come from very dysfunctional or a

Mortal Sight

This book inspired me to write the review in poem form....here goes: A tale of seeing what others deem invisible, A story of Darkness near,  A story of finding your way  A character who some may see themselves in, a heroin seeking one thing and finding another. Grasp ahold of destiny,  learn to embrace who you are, You are now a part of something bigger.  An enemy that is powerful and relentless,  it leaves you giving shadows a second glance.   A portion of me wonders.... is this fantasy I am reading or reality with a different garment on. Sometimes it is the truth concealed in fiction that speaks the loudest. Highly recommended for lovers of YA fantasy with a supernatural twist.

Operation Grendel

Image
Okay,  well, that was interesting! I have only read a few Science fiction books yet this book easily pulled me into this world.   I really enjoyed how fast paced the story felt. At parts I was a bit thrown in the transitions, but I adapted as I got used to the author's style. This book explores issues that are present in our time such as honesty,  freewill and deception. Yet putting it in a high tech science fiction world allows you to really explore the seriousness of truth and the value as well.  This book had a mind bending twist that I did not see coming and left me scrabbling to keep up! I really thought I had it figured out! Sometimes the flashbacks slowed the story a tad, but I really appreciated how easy to read this was. I enjoy a story that can suprise me and one that makes me think about relevant things.  I recieved a copy of this book from the publisher,  all opinions and comments are my own and honest.

On the Wings of Devotion

Image
This book was absolutely perfect! I love a good brooding hero with a past. Cam is all that and a bag of chips! I loved the heroine of this books too. Arabella was so sweet, and genuine. I loved how her faith played into the story, it felt real and she was so relatable. I loved how gradually the romance progressed, you knew what was coming, but it grew at a really believable rate for who the characters were. And it has some truly great romantic moments! All the hype I heard is true! I loved the bit of suspense woven into the story, I loved the redemption, I loved it! Part of me is mad I waited so long, then another part is happy I saved it for a time I needed this kind of story! This is a great book!

The Love Letter by Rachel Hauck

Image
Wow! This book had so much. It was one of those stories that makes you think, makes you reflect, and makes me rejoice in the amazing Author who is our creator. This is a great time split novel, it didn't work out like I thought it was going to, but where that usually makes me frustrated, this twist made me reflect on how God is in control and even though things don't always go the way we want them to, He is in control and He has a plan that is beautiful. Each of the characters felt so real, it didn't matter if the were in 1780 or present day. I cheered for then, felt for them, and that is what pulled me in. Though fictional, these characters reminded me that no matter what our future looks like, we can trust our Shepherd, we can follow Him.

Longing for Lilly by Tara Grace Ericson

Image
With each book I enjoy this series more and more! I really loved this second chance romance! This story had a great redemption arch that drew me in and I just flew through this book! In this book we see Lilly,  and how the past has shadowed her present,  I felt drawn into the story wanting to discover what had happened and then how her and Josh were going to overcome.  I really appreciated the serious issues that they had to face in their past and their future.  Though this book deals with heavy topics it didn't weigh the story down, we still get the sweet romance that I have come to anticipate from Tara's books. I recommend this series to lovers of sweet contemporary romance! I recieved a copy of this book from the author.  My review is completely my honest opinion.

Boundless by Tamara Leigh

Image
Have I mentioned how much I adore this series?! I wait for each one of these books to come out, and each time the release day roles around I put every other book on hold so I can dive in.  And each time, gahhhhh! So worth it! This book I savored and read slowly.  This one is a bit more on the medium paced side. I found this book might be one of the most quotable of Tamara Leigh's books.  There were so many times that this book had those poignant, well placed lines, especially about answers to prayers,  pride and love. This book made me fall in love with these characters and we got to see the characters from previous books. Especially Dougray (wink). Oh and that ending........all the heart eyes!!!!!! Another win for the Age of Conquest!

Tidewater Bride by Laura Frantz

Image
I always know when I pick up a Laura Frantz book that I am going to get an immersive experience. This book was definitely that. You can truly feel transported to Pioneer era Jamestown when you read this book. I was trying to read this book in between Christmas and New years, so I was really distracted and didn't really get into the flow of reading until I was at the halfway point, but that was probably just because I had a lot going on. This book made me slow down and absorbe the beauty of the written word. I loved Xander as a hero, he was awesome! 4.5 stars I recieved a complementary copy of this book from the publisher. My opinions in this review are my own and honest.

The Raveling by Tamara Leigh

Image
I am so happy!!!!! Sigh..... I will miss having one more book in the age of faith series to read, but this ending was just perfection!!!!! I loved the plot I loved the characters! I loved that Tamara features a heroine who is in her 30s!!!!! Yes! There was action, there were childers who needed a champion! It references all the people that this series has made so dear to me. I loved how the romance played out, different from the other books, but all the heart eyes!!!!!!!

Still the One by Rachel D Russell

Yes! Back to Deep Haven! I was very intrigued when Susan may Warren announced that she was going to have new authors join her in writing Deep Haven stories.  What would they be like? I was completely pulled into this story! It had the drama,  romance and formula that I love in Susan's books, and so many characters from Deep Haven that I loved. I really enjoyed this author's voice and the way she told this story.  I am a huge sucker for veteran stories! What really touched me was the heroines struggle with her own feelings of being unworthy,  man that hit home for me. A struggle I'm sure many have and told in a way that gives such hope. I read this while on vacation,  tucked into a cabin,  it was perfect! This story is a type of second chance romance that pulled at my emotions and I really enjoyed it!
