a Match for Emma

Adorably Delicious.
That's how I veiw this book. I really enjoy books that take the framework and parts that we love in classics and give us a new adaptation of it. Pepper Basham did a great job of bringing us an adorable friends to more story in her own unique style that has the fun and the great romantic tension that builds at just the right pace for this kind of story.
I really loved the spiritual depth of this story too. Emma and Jon had to realize where they were holding back and what they needed to grow in. Emma probably had the biggest growth where she realized not only her faults, but how it had an impact on others. It's something I have had to grow in as well, so that made is special to me.
The cuteness factor of this story was just what I needed at the time too.
