Whatever happens next by Jaycee Weaver

I loved so much in this book! It was one of those books that I had seen on a few tours on Instagram,  but I hadn't read anything from that author before. I got the book when it went on sale and was looking forward to reading it.  I'm so glad I got to it! This author is going into my "must read" for contemporary romance.  She writes her characters in such a way that I just root for them! I lived how the characters had struggles that they had to overcome in their own growth and how their faith cam into play with that. The series is called "everyday romance " and that is so perfect.  These are characters that face those every day challenges and how to apply their faith and values in their life. I loved the "sizzle factor " and how it was incorporated into the romance.  I got to see how they had the chemistry and spark, but also how to face situations when they needed to make those decisions to stay true their convictions.  I love seeing how the faith

The Thorn Keeper by Pepper Basham

Oh. Wow. This. Book. Buy it!!!!!!!!! This book follows the story of the sister we met in the first book, and wow. I didn't think I would like Catherine as much as I did. She was just someone that I was rooting for.  Loved her redemption story.  And David......I mean...swoooooon! This love story took a spin that I did not anticipate, but it was soooooooo good! Pepper Basham knows how to build the chemistry at just the right pace and bring the heat, at just the right level and still stay clean.  Fantastic story. I loved it and recommend this to anyone who wants swoony romance set in world war 1!

the Unveiling by Tamara leigh

Ah the book that started my obsession with all things Tamara Leigh! Going back and reading this book for the second time after several years was so nostalgic and delightful! I love the enemies to lovers trope and Tamara Leigh's books deliver that tension in spades! Seeing this book now I can see how much this author has grown and how her writing has only gotten better over the years! I enjoyed seeing this story play out again, the conflict, the intrigue, the love story that only Tamara can tell. The character arc that always leaves me smiling at the end of the book because you see how far they have come. Both Annyn and Garr had lessons they needed to learn, discoveries to be made and truth that needed to uncover. Wulfrith Forever!

To Dwell among the Cedars by Connilynn Cossette

I have been saying for years that Connilynn Cossette is my favorite Biblical fiction writer.  This book is her very first in a duology.  This book is so beautiful! The story is well crafted and it drew me in , because it is a two part story I am eager for the second! Boy .....am I eager! I loved the subtle references to her other series, and I loved seeing her characters grow! The pacing of this book is a bit slower in parts compared to some of her other books. However it is so good! Have I mentioned how I love how this author can weave a story?!!! She weaves such depth and truth into her fiction it is amazing.  The characters are flawed, and you see how their past has shaped how they view themselves.  I loved the message of adoption and being seen by The God Who Sees! A touching journey and a great new beginning!
