Intense  Thrilling Action packed Complex Twists and turns Hold your breath  These are what comes to mind as I write this review of the highly anticipated second book of the Book of Wars series. You simply have to read Storm Rising first, for there you are introduced to all the players and a very vital backstory. It's hard to write a review on this book because there are quite a few twists that I don't want to give away.  So I am just going to say if you are looking for a intense, action packed, paramilitary suspense .......I recommend no other than Ronie Kendig. I really enjoyed how she has taken the characters introduced to us in Storm and really fleshed them out on a deeper level. Not only are they racing against the clock and around the world, but they are facing their own personal struggles and hidden obstacles that could be their undoing. Bravo Ronie Kendig! You once again have crafted a story that has kept me reading until the late hours of the night and I am anxiously aw

This book was so good! I loved how well paced it was and I loved the development between the two main characters. The banter and verbal sparring was so entertaining. Kat and Barrett couldn't be more different from each other, but they made such a great team. And I really liked how the author wove the danger of being in Nazi occupied France into the story. The whole situation with the sister was disturbing but very authentic in what happened during that time. And this author can write some tension!! I love the tension. LOVED the kisses too ;) I am definitely coming back to this author for more! I felt like the immersion into the resistance was a bit quicker than what would have actually happened, and sometimes the transitions between scenes happened abruptly, but I got used to this style as I kept reading. Great romance! Just an all around entertaining, great read! I recieved a complementary copy of this book from the publisher. I genuinely loved this book and all my opinions are my

This series has been amazing. Not only was it a fantasy series that I fully enjoyed, it was a series that reminded me and challenged me to treat prayer as a gift and something that I need to spend more time doing. Everything was set for the climax in this book, and it was so well woven that I couldn't stop thinking about it.  The romance junkie in me wished that there was a bit more interaction between Damien and Selene, but it fit how the story was designed. It really made me think if how even though I am not a dreamwalker (wink), I can truly intercede and do battle on behalf of others while in prayer and communion with my Lord. Prayer is so often treated like an afterthought, or something to do when you can't do anything else. It is an undervalued privilege. While deeply allegorical and with clear spiritual insight this story let me meditate on the real battle, while the fictional characters fought a fictional one. This series has some serious substance, that I have not ever
