Tidewater Bride by Laura Frantz
I always know when I pick up a Laura Frantz book that I am going to get an immersive experience. This book was definitely that. You can truly feel transported to Pioneer era Jamestown when you read this book.
I was trying to read this book in between Christmas and New years, so I was really distracted and didn't really get into the flow of reading until I was at the halfway point, but that was probably just because I had a lot going on.
This book made me slow down and absorbe the beauty of the written word.
I loved Xander as a hero, he was awesome!
4.5 stars
I recieved a complementary copy of this book from the publisher. My opinions in this review are my own and honest.
