Pharoah's daughter by Mesu Andrews
This book took me on an unforgettable journey into ancient Egypt!
I felt as if I was fully immersed it the culture and intrigue of the time.
This book covers years of time surrounding a character we don't know much about.
I usually don't get into books that cover such a span of time. I don't think I connected fully with the main character's perspective at times, but it was a very well written book. It is really a n amazing look into the Egyptian culture and I learned so much from this book.
There were parts that I thought were a bit convenient for the plot just to wrap the story up and then the author mentioned the Bible verse for her reference and I was blown away with a detail that I had never noticed before!
Seriously, I was taken by surprise!
I love it when that happens!
