Poppies proposal by Tara Grace Ericson

I think this book is my favorite so far in the series! Why?
Marriage of convenience  baby!
There are not a lot of MOC stories in the contemporary genre and I always seem to love the few that come up.
We had a tiny hint of something going on in Poppies life in Daisy's book and I was really looking forward to seeing what was up!
I really love how each book is interconnected, but with a new view each time.
At first I had a hard time accepting the reason behind the marriage but I really liked how it played out. I love stories that go "beyond the I do". I loved the building chemistry between the two main characters and the way that they overcame their insecurities from each of their pasts. My only complaint is that I wished that I could have seen more of their interactions, I enjoy seeing them together so much, I could have done with more. I was a bit annoyed with Harrison for considering going against his word, but I loved the nature and the message of the resolution.
I love stories that are romantic and inspirational!

Undercurrent of Secrets

Okay this is officially my favorite Rachel Scott McDaniel book yet! This book is a split time that is so well balanced between the past and the present. I loved the light thread of mystery and the contemporary just was so good. I loved the romance in both time periods. There were some absolutely adorable and swoony scenes in both that just was my favorite parts of this book. I loved the setting of the riverboat! So interesting how the author used an actual boat for the setting and so you get that peek into the lives of people who lived the riverboat life. If you want to feel transported grab this one, it's a gem. Thanks to Netgally I received a complementary copy of this book. All opinions in this review are honest and my own.

To Believe in You

I had seen this author's books floating around on Instagram and jumped at the chance to grab one on Netgally. Yes, I started with the last book in the series. It in no way lessened my enjoyment of this beautiful story. I love stories of people who get second chances. I love the opposites attract trope. And I love a strong redemption arc. This book had all of that. The author crafters characters that have their own flaws and struggles. I loved the hero. Though wounded and scarred from his past mistakes, he was lovable and I couldn't help but root for him. I loved his protective nature as well. Always here for the protective hero. The heroine is the opposite of him in many ways, and yet she was so relatable to a fellow rule abider like myself. I loved the way each character had to work through their struggles.
