Many Sparrows by Lorie Benton

This book had been sitting in my TBR for a ridiculous amount of time and I am so glad I got around to reading it.
Lorie Benton paints a very vivid picture with words. It is if you can smell the trees an earth as you are reading.
In the start of the story we see Clair facing a horrible sequence of events and then her drive to keep hold of that what remains.
Jeremiah comes into the scene and is willing to help her search for her missing son.
I really appreciated the attention to detail that this author portrays the frontier life with. She doesn't gloss over the gritty truth, and let's you see the issues from both perspectives.
This book definitely took me on a real journey.
The romance junkie in me wished for a bit more on the romance side of the story.
A book I would recommend for someone who wants to be absorbed into a historical journey through the frontier life.
