my review of Brand of Light
I feel so much right now.
Just stay in that corner Brand, stay there and think about what you put me through.
I am trying to write a understandable review.
Let me start at the beginning.
I never in a million years thought that I would ever pick up a sci- fi/ fantasy like this.
But since it was written by Ronie Kendig, I decided to go for it.
Her writing style did not disappoint. She can spin a story like crazy.
She sucked me into this other universe and I was unable to put this story down.
One thing that I love is how she writes characters that feel so real, even when completely fictional and in a fictional world. It doesn't matter.
I care about these characters.
I especially love her work because she writes warriors, and survivors that feel like you can hear them breathe.
You can feel them run, feel them hurt, all the feels. Sometimes fury.
And this story is just beginning. Don't expect to have everything tied up in a nice predicable bow.
This book has twists and turn that have left me dazed and spinning.
I have to keep reminding myself that this is fiction.
I was wrung out and spent by the end.
The power of a story.
Once I recover I will be looking forward to the next, but I just need to heal.
