End of the Magi by Patrick w. Carr

This book was filled with historical detail, and the plot was ever moving and evenly paced.
But for me personally I like more character development. I felt like Myrad never grew, and he never seemed to really change spiritually. Not my cup of tea. This was the first time I have ever read this author, so maybe it is just the style of the writing that I was not used to.
To me this book was more about the life of caravan merchants in the first century, than it was about the actual magi. While there was a bunch of interesting information, I felt like it was a missed opportunity to really get to the heart of the message.
