Runaway Bride by Jody Hedlund

As soon as I was introduced to Arabella in the first book I was eagerly anticipating her story. 
But you guys....... nothing prepared me for how wonderful this story is!
Jody Hedlund has outdone herself! This second installment of the Bride ship series is even better than the first!
Arabella is a character that you can't help but root for. She is wounded by her past, but watching her grow and become strong is just an amazing story.
Pete is a fantastic hero! He is confident, funny and the absolute perfect character to help Arabella. Normally the flirty, outgoing type of heroes are not my favorite, but Pete has this magnetic optimistic outlook that is practically contagious!
I loved how the author wove these two opposite personality types together and had them grow in their individual struggles and their faith.
This positively swoon worthy romance is blended with historical detail and a inspirational message.
This is everything I look for in a historical romance.
I could just gush forever, definitely not to be missed for fans of historical romance!

Undercurrent of Secrets

Okay this is officially my favorite Rachel Scott McDaniel book yet! This book is a split time that is so well balanced between the past and the present. I loved the light thread of mystery and the contemporary just was so good. I loved the romance in both time periods. There were some absolutely adorable and swoony scenes in both that just was my favorite parts of this book. I loved the setting of the riverboat! So interesting how the author used an actual boat for the setting and so you get that peek into the lives of people who lived the riverboat life. If you want to feel transported grab this one, it's a gem. Thanks to Netgally I received a complementary copy of this book. All opinions in this review are honest and my own.

To Believe in You

I had seen this author's books floating around on Instagram and jumped at the chance to grab one on Netgally. Yes, I started with the last book in the series. It in no way lessened my enjoyment of this beautiful story. I love stories of people who get second chances. I love the opposites attract trope. And I love a strong redemption arc. This book had all of that. The author crafters characters that have their own flaws and struggles. I loved the hero. Though wounded and scarred from his past mistakes, he was lovable and I couldn't help but root for him. I loved his protective nature as well. Always here for the protective hero. The heroine is the opposite of him in many ways, and yet she was so relatable to a fellow rule abider like myself. I loved the way each character had to work through their struggles.
