Wow.
This is the book that brings it all together. 
This book had my heart racing and reading so fast, and at the same time I found myself stalling to finish it, because I didn't want it to end.
And this book is a perfect example of why I read Kendig's books.
She brings something completely unique to the suspense genre. 
She has action,  and heart,  fast paced and complex plots intertwined. Heroes that go to battle while fighting their own inner war. Heroines that are strong, unique, and unforgettable.
This series is epic. 
It is everything I look for in a militarily suspense read. 
It's intense,  with that gritty edge that had me wondering just how it was going to end! She really had me guessing!
I really loved how the characters grew when pushed to the limits.
I loved how the author brought it all to a climax and left me completely satisfied at the end.
I recieved a copy of this book from the publisher,  all opinions are completely my own and honest.

Undercurrent of Secrets

Okay this is officially my favorite Rachel Scott McDaniel book yet! This book is a split time that is so well balanced between the past and the present. I loved the light thread of mystery and the contemporary just was so good. I loved the romance in both time periods. There were some absolutely adorable and swoony scenes in both that just was my favorite parts of this book. I loved the setting of the riverboat! So interesting how the author used an actual boat for the setting and so you get that peek into the lives of people who lived the riverboat life. If you want to feel transported grab this one, it's a gem. Thanks to Netgally I received a complementary copy of this book. All opinions in this review are honest and my own.

To Believe in You

I had seen this author's books floating around on Instagram and jumped at the chance to grab one on Netgally. Yes, I started with the last book in the series. It in no way lessened my enjoyment of this beautiful story. I love stories of people who get second chances. I love the opposites attract trope. And I love a strong redemption arc. This book had all of that. The author crafters characters that have their own flaws and struggles. I loved the hero. Though wounded and scarred from his past mistakes, he was lovable and I couldn't help but root for him. I loved his protective nature as well. Always here for the protective hero. The heroine is the opposite of him in many ways, and yet she was so relatable to a fellow rule abider like myself. I loved the way each character had to work through their struggles.
